We, the Rotary Club of Luton Someries, are the organisers of the Luton Festival of Transport, and have produced this document for all Exhibitors visiting our show this year. This is to ensure the safety and protection of all attending the Festival of Transport.
- By completing the online Application Form, you confirm that you have read these instructions and agree to comply with them. Should you feel unable to fully comply, please do not complete the Application Form.
- There is a mandatory speed limit of 5 MPH for all vehicles on the show site, which will be enforced by our Marshalls.
- All vehicles should be in a fit and safe condition to be exhibited at the show, where the public may come up to the vehicle and touch it.
- The show opens at 10.00am and closes at 4.00pm. We would ask that all vehicles arrive early enough to be shown to their allocated position.
- The site layout has been preplanned and on arrival vehicles must follow the Marshalls directions to their allocated position.
- Vehicles that arrive after the show opens will have to wait and be escorted to their allocated position by a Marshall.
- Once the vehicle is in its allocated position, the ignition key or fob must be removed to a safe and secure place for the duration of the festival. Vehicles that do not have an ignition key MUST have a means of immobilising the vehicle, so that it cannot be started or moved without the driver being present.
- Vehicles that wish to leave before the show closes MUST speak to a Marshall and arrange, if it is deemed prudent, for a Marshall to lead the vehicle out. This must be organised before moving the vehicle.
- Under NO circumstances is fuelling permitted on the site.
